Hello and Welcome to another potentially useful episode of the TCAPSLoop Podcast!! Joining me from a construction site…in your mind, it’s the Technollergist, David Noller and Danelle Brostrom. After the holidays many schools begin Research Project season. With that in mind we revisit the ISTE Standard 1.3 - Knowledge Constructor, and it's importance in gathering and curating reliable information for student work.

- Standard #1.3: Knowledge Constructor, which has to do with how students research, determine credible sources to use, collect information and draw conclusions, and share that with others
1.3.a Students plan and employ effective research strategies to locate information and other resources for their intellectual or creative pursuits.
1.3.b Students evaluate the accuracy, perspective, credibility and relevance of information, media, data or other resources.
1.3.c Students curate information from digital resources using a variety of tools and methods to create collections of artifacts that demonstrate meaningful connections or conclusions.
1.3.d Students build knowledge by actively exploring real-world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories and pursuing answers and solutions.
